This is Lord_of_Hell's recommendation not mine actually. He wanted me to "report" that there should be a cooldown on flem mines. I personally could care less. I'm just following orders.....

Heh, well I guess they don't really need a nerf, since if you're aware of them, they won't hurt you much. Say, if I'm without any units, and someone spawns a mine near me, I'd just spam afrits around it and it will surely let me avoid it without much loss. What's really annoying is when you lose a heckload of strong units due to them.. I was on Barren (map #12) at the easternmost part of the map, and had like over 10 traductus units there, because I tried to kill every single bypassing player... traductus is an excellent ganking unit, so I spent all my saved up mana there, instead of on hero units. I didn't have units elsewhere as I planned to stay low until there's only one player left. Well, Avernus decided to pay me a visit with a mine or two, and completely blasted my clerics to bits It sooo ruined my fun I had, before that I repelled nice groups of stridicus and other kinds of flem.

I've never really had trouble with Flem Mines. You'll learn to hate them when they will shred your precious creations to bits! or learn to love them when you'll do the same to someone else. Makes me wonder... are flem mines effective hero unit killers? It seems likely.. unless they're immune of highly resistant to it.. those mines pack quite a punch, and if several are spawned around, say a cyberdemon, they might just have a strong impact on its health.

Dancso... a mine or two ? I put 8 of them there. (Might be 7 too) I was saving for another snotty with maximus team, but your trads were killing my poor cute quadrumpuses... I had no choice !

Usually i sneak behind the base, summon about 5 right in the dead center where all the monsters and player are, and boom gg

except for when the mines are spawned already between a whole big group of your favourite expensive assassin units, there's just no way to lure the mines away.
