I've decided that a rehaul of the music pack could be in order. Some maps just don't have satisfactory music. So, discuss which maps need new music. My personal list of maps with great music:Wierd Bases Valley (It's just too classic now lol) Tech Monolith Blazing Colosseum Lesser Crucible Battlefield 1994 (It's a vanilla themed map, so it works) Barren Command and Conquer Greater Crucible Red Canyon Grimwald (As of 2.8. Just trust me) System Reboot (It's the most iconic track from Virus) Those are the ones I'm not touching, so talk about the others

Thank god you listed Barrens. I would be crushed if that music was changed. I kinda liked the old music in Deju Vu better then The Void, but I know there are alot of people who LOVE the new music so it doesn't bother me to much. Something Epic would be fine if it didn't have that long pause at the end. I agree with you that the remix on Lesser Crucible is pretty good, but the guitar solo can get really destracting during gameplay, and kinda ruins the song anyways. At least it does for me. Again not a big deal though because that map rarely gets played anyways and when it does. It is not hard for me to use the goodol' changemus command. Other then that I have no problem with the rest of the music. If theres something I don't like in the music wad. Its not hard to just open it up and replace that song with something else anyways.

valley sounds like an infinite loop, but with a short ending *edit* also, Yah that match was fun. The music that Sly picked for his video is perfect for that map. [speaking of blazing colloseum] www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0dmdoWwb8A

Well, no skulltag music effects me, I always have it off unless I've heard that a track is awesome (Shotgun Frenzy all the way).

Command and Conquer's track rules.

I've been saying it all along: some of the tracks in ZDwars just don't fit. I think I might do my own rehaul of the music pack.
Though I won't touch some. Greater Crucible and Command and Conquer's themes are too badass to change, among others.

What ? You mean Turmoil doesn't have great music ?!?!?! OMG SHAME ON YOU VENTRIS, SHAME ON YOU! Damn... is it going to get touched ? D: Apart from the silliness, I agree with WhoDaMan, the old Deja Vu music was much better IMO, more epic. Right now, the map itself is also not that cool but this isn't the subject. But all in all, I think Blazing Colosseum has the most FITTING track of them all... Just too epic

Well, I'm impartial to the Turmoil music. And Angel, the question wasn't whether you didn't like some of the music, it was WHICH music you didn't like.

Bleh. Curse my near-lack of literal ability.
System Reboot's theme is just too hard on the ears. Don't like Weird Bases' theme either. Same for Pacific Battle's and Something Epic's.

You don't like Pacific Warfare's music? Really? Huh, I personally think it fits the map perfectly, but I guess everyone has there opinion. Anyways I forgot to mention that I'm not really crazy abpit zdwars2's music either. Dispair Canyon I think its called.

I'm probably going to refuse to change System Reboot's music, since it's the most iconic midi from Virus. There would have to be a mass protest and at least 30 death threats for me to change it. ;P

THAT MUCH
Though if there were some sort of public outcry on a day in which I had plenty of chocolate milk to drink from my Sippersaurus, I might opt for a different Virus midi. But I do like the rowdy aspect of the current music a lot.

Well, leave it as it is, if it's faithful enough to the theme, then there's nothing wrong.

Dead Haze should get some sort of gloomier theme. Rock Music doesn't fit well with a graveyard.
