Actually there might be away around that with a script like this.
script 666 (void) { if (CheckActorCeilingTexture(0, "F_SKY1")) GiveInventory("skychecker", 1); }
Then the turret spawn projectile decorate would look like this.
Death: { SHEX A 0 SHEX A 0 acs_execute(666,0,0) SHEX A 0 A_JumpIfInventory ("skychecker", 1, 2) SHEX A 1 A_SpawnItemEx (TurretCeiling,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,28,0) SHEX BCDE 1 TNT1 A 1 A_TakeInventory ("skychecker", 1) stop }
I have no idea if this would work. I have a feeling it won't because I don't think you can give projectiles inventory items, but I don't know. I've never really tried it.

I found an small problem with virus, if the match ends by time up Virus will lose because it has less health.

It wouldn't be a problem if the two players would just kill each other. Seriously though, there isn't really a way around that. For the time being, it's not a huge issue, since I think it is quite recognized that a Draw is a Draw, or that if one player was dominating at the time, it can be accepted that they were the winner, on-screen text or no.

Curious as to why the spread turrets are getting a buff when normal turrets are being nerfed...would'nt players just spam the crap out of the spread turrets instead and make the situation worse? D:

...well, non ghost units get shot, because... that's the point. Look, if you're too slow to start deploying ghost units and/or standing at a distance and/or swamping the turrets in melee units and allowing ranged units to bombard then, then you're not going to win anyway. At any decent distance, spreadshot turrets lose quite a bit of accuracy. We'll have to see, since people haven't used Spreadshot turrets so much lately.
